Last troops leave Iraq

The last U.S. military deployed in Iraq have left the country yesterday, thus putting an end to a war that has dragged on for nine years. The convoy of military vehicles left Iraq by land border with Kuwait, which led the soldiers to a conclusion on that did not hide the joy of returning home.
Over the period of war, besides the high costs of military operations, 4,474 U.S. soldiers lost their lives – including 3,518 in full combat – and even killed some 100,000 civilians. However, despite this withdrawal of troops, there are still unresolved problems in Iraq as territorial disputes, religious tensions, the Al-Qaeda rebels who continue to make attacks, corruption and conflict with Kuwait.
